Important information concerning the Illinois Prosthetic Parity Bill SB 2386 is available on the News page. We've got information there for you to be able to get involved in support of this important legislation including suggestions on how to contact your state senator.

We are FAIM

We are men, women and children of all ages.  Some of us are newborns. Others are teens, young adults and senior citizens.  We come from all walks of life and from many different ethnic origins.  We are people very much like you and those you care about.  Some of us have lost limbs to illness or accident.  Others of us or our children were born with limb anomolies.

We can help you

Amputation is an experience that involves many feelings and requires many adjustments.  Having felt those emotions and having made modifications, we've committed ourselves to helping others handle them.  If you or someone you love is an amputee or about to become one, we can bring you emotional support as well as practical information.

You probably have many concerns.  Will I ever drive again?  Will I be able to work? Will my child run and play like other children?  Is there another amputee that I can talk to?  By sharing with you what we've learned, we can help you return to a complete, fulfilling life.
